In Egyptian mythology, Ra crossed the sky each day, bringing light to every land beneath him. The name reflects how we see the work: connecting separated worlds, illuminating opaque markets, making sure what is supposed to flow actually flows.
The founding logic is simple.
We both spent two years abroad in our early twenties. One of us in Europe, one in South America. We learned to be useful quickly in places where we did not start with a network, speak the language, or know a single person. We knocked on a lot of unfamiliar doors. We got good at it.
That experience is the founding logic of this company. The supply our clients need is in countries most buyers have not visited and have no comfortable way to reach. Our job is to be the people who go. We are comfortable in those rooms. We always have been.
Think of Ra Merchants as an extension of your sourcing function. There is no committee between you and the founders. When you engage us, you engage the people who will be on the ground, on the call, and on the hook for the result. We are not analysts. We do not publish reports. We move material.

Co-founderCody leads buyer-side relationships, transaction structuring, and deal coordination. His background spans digital infrastructure, energy services, and consumer brand building, with prior work in data center power brokering, Bitcoin mining infrastructure, and multi-industry operating roles.
Spencer Sorensen
Co-founderSpencer leads supplier qualification and field operations. He holds graduate training in psychology and clinical mental health counseling and previously served as Chief Relationship Officer at Tribehouse, leading partnership development and leadership retreats. He has lived and traveled across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
